Maud wolftongue age 93 of Clovis, NM died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. Services pending. Burial will be at Calumet Cemetery in Calumet, OK.
Maud was born June 15, 1914 to Harry Hauser and Ethel Cook Hauser in Canadian County, OK. She was a Dorm Mother at Conch Sioux Indian School. In 1940 she married McClain Wolftongue in El City, Oklahoma. She was of the Baptist Faith and loved beading, reading, and listen to Indian Music.
Survivors include her two daughters, Lenora (Joe) Wilkins of Clovis, NM, and JoAnn (Joe) Birdshead of Billings, MT; two sons, Alan Wolftongue of El Reno, OK, and Emmet (Liz) Wolftongue of Agra, OK; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, McClain Wolftongue; her parents, Harry and Ethel Hauser; a son, Robert "Bobby" Wolftongue; a grandson, Dustin Wolftongue; a great-grandson, Jayden Wolftongue; one brother and two sisters.
