Esther Vanita Ketcherside, 90, of Farwell, TX died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Parkview Nursing Care Center in Muleshoe, TX. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm CST Friday May 4, 2012 at Sunset Terrace in Farwell, TX with Pastor Furgus Tunnell officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Esther was born September 8, 1921 to Jesse and Emma (McDonald) Wallace in Pontotoc, OK. She married Jack Ketcherside June 24, 1939 in Hammond, OK.
Survivors include her four sons, Joe Ketcherside of Farwell, TX, Jack (Kathy) Ketcherside of Lubbock, TX, Richard (Jeanette) Ketcherside of Portales, NM, and Ricky (Joyce) Ketcherside of Farwell, TX; a sister, Laquita (Robert) Neibors of Fritch, TX; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter; and 16 sibilings.
